Many wise men will tell you that sex is a great thing. It is a great way of coming close to your partner, and to form a more solid bond with them. Apart from that, sex can make you feel liberated. Not to forget, the pleasure that you can get from it.
Having said that, sex isn’t great sometimes. In fact, 80% people report that having sex is overrated and it is more pleasurable to watch someone having sex than doing it. So, what makes sex not tick sometimes? Well, a lot of things. Most of the times, it is due to some of our own habits that turns our partner off.

#1. Bad Hygiene
By hygiene, we mean it holistically- especially in the places where the sun doesn’t shine often. Personal hygiene, oral hygiene is a major prerequisite to have sex. If you’re unhygienic, or have a bad odor, or have a foul smell coming from your mouth, it will turn-off your partner to a great extent. Bad hygiene is one of the biggest sexual turn-offs.

This one is a major turn-off for guys. If you’re a girl who acts like a starfish in bed- i.e. do nothing apart from lying down and thinking the man will take it from there, then you’ll never have a great initiate experience. Guys hate girls who don’t show involvement. Yes, people want to take charge, but, that doesn’t mean you’ll be lying around like a dead horse. So, become a little athletic in bed.
#3. The Wrong Names
Have you ever moaned your ex’s name while having sex? Well, if you have then, it is not hard to assume that your partner stopped right away and then there was no sex for weeks. Calling out your ex’s name is perhaps, one the biggest sexual turn-offs for both men and women. Apart from that, it can also have dire consequences for your relationship.

Yes, we all can agree that kissing is a great way to raise the mercury level. So, naturally, bad kissing pulls that mercury down dramatically. Kisses are important as they are highly symbolic of your sexual compatibility. If you’re a bad kisser, then, you should probably learn the trick and then, come back.
#5. Being A Wimp
Joining the list is a major turn-off for women. Women like their men to take charge of things. However, if you’re a man who acts like a kid in bed, then your women is never going to be satisfied by you in bed. Being a wimp is a major sexual turn-off. So, don’t be afraid of things, have fun and make your women feel good about herself.

#6. Being Aggressive
Having established the fact that women like their men to take charge of things, it doesn’t mean that they are allowed to turn into aggressive beasts. If you push a woman around or try hurting her when you’re turned on, trust us, you are turning your woman off hugely. Be confident, but seldom aggressive.
#7. Attitude
Having the right attitude increases your chances of getting laid. However, if you’re someone who has a bad attitude, especially during sex, then you’re turning your partner off. If you like to control things, and never try to listen to what your partner has to say, it is a big turn-off. So, be open and be willing to cross the line sometimes. After all, compatibility and mutual understanding can enable you to have great sex.
