Stay away from the negative thoughts, so that you can enjoy the present. Regular meditation and exercising can help you stay away from negative thoughts. #9. Stay Away From Comparisons

You’ll often face comparisons while you walk the path of success. Do not pay heed to any of them. Your life is yours, and you should never let anyone else decide for you, especially on the basis of some belittle comparisons. If you feel happy and accomplished in whatever you do, you are just doing fine. Comparing yourself with other successful people will only make you feel demotivated and under confident. Just remember that the grass always seems to be greener on the other end, which does not necessarily mean that the successful person that you look up to is happy. He/she may have their own set of tragedies, insecurities or other difficulties. If you wish to compare, then compare your past and present. Observe if you are becoming a better version of yourself. To be successful in life, it is important that you fight against your own inner inhibitions and fears.

#10. Count Your Blessings

No matter how much you achieve in life, you will never achieve happiness if you do not value what you have. Instead of cribbing for things that you don’t have, start appreciating the ones that you have. Acknowledge your family and your friends who have been there with you through all ups and downs in life.

Once you start running on the treadmill that leads you to a successful future, make sure you are fit for it. An unhealthy or under nourished body will only cause fatigue and eventually, you’ll fall off the runner. Take charge of your health, eat and stay healthy, because as they say “Health Is The Real Wealth”.

Answer
Success can be defined as the accomplishment of a goal or a purpose. Therefore, successful people can be defined as the ones who accomplish their goals in a better and more effective manner. You must have often come across rules that you should follow to attain success in life, but are you aware of the paradoxical? In the rush of achieving our goals, we frequently overlook the little things that can be avoided to meet our targets sooner. If you wish to find success in your life, it is important that you know about the things that successful people do not do. Successful people do not measure everything in monetary units. Because success is equal parts professional and personal, it is important that you do not over estimate the power of money. Money can define your professional growth, but your personal success is based on your inner growth and development.  Successful people plan ahead of time, but their decisions are never made in haste. Hasty decisions always have disastrous repercussions that are inevitable. Each decision should be well-thought of before it's implementation.  Successful people do not aim for unrealistic dreams. They love to keep their feet on the ground, and therefore plan accordingly. Unrealistic expectations will eventually lead to disappointments and demotivate you in the longer run. Just be clear about the feasibility of your ideas. Successful people never aim at being an omniscient. They are aware of their skills and wish to enhance them, instead of running after things that they have no knowledge about. Successful people never let judgments and comparisons distract them from their goals. Criticism is a part of your journey to success and therefore you cannot escape them. All you can do is not get too affected by them and just keep moving ahead.  Lastly, successful people do not stop, what may come. Nobody gets what they want in the very first go.  Just like the thirsty crow, we all need to keep throwing stones in the well until the water brims at the surface. So, never stop because you are tired or you feel uninspired, just keep moving until you achieve your goal.
