How do you Upload Images from Gallery to Snapchat?

Snapchat being the most popular image messaging smartphone application has tremendously taken over our lives. It's tailor-made for everyone's requirements and allows to share moments through snaps with friends and followers. 

But, do you know how to upload pictures to Snapchat story/ chat via image gallery? Snapchat picture upload is really easy and here's how you can do it.

Steps to Upload Pictures to Snapchat (For Both Android and iOS Users)

#1. Once you open the Snapchat application on your smartphone, you'll notice two round icons at the bottom of your screen.

#2. Tap the smaller icon, not the one that instantly captures the snaps.

#3. Swipe towards the left to enter into your camera roll/ gallery from the snap section.

#4. Here, you'll see both the photos and videos that you would want to upload.

#5. Select the best one and tap the tick icon present at the upper right corner.

#6. iOS users would be required to save the video first while the Android users can easily upload any if it's within the stipulated time period of Snapchat.

#7. For saving the video, you'll have to tap the Share Icon that's present next to the Trash Icon at the bottom. Click Save Video in the next step. And upload to Snapchat by clicking on the Send option.

Steps to Snapchat Picture Upload Directly On Chat

iOS Users

#1. Ensure to grant permissions to Snapchat for accessing your camera roll.

#2. Anyone with iOS 8 and above versions can directly share the Camera Roll pictures now.

#3. Select the picture, click Share, and choose Snapchat.

#4. If you want, doodle or add captions and press the arrow button at the bottom right corner.

#5. Select the chat you want to send the Snap to, and that's it!

Android Users

#1. Open the chat you want to send the snap to.

#2. Click the little square window at the right bottom corner of your screen.

#3. You'll enter the photo gallery. Select the image, doodle, caption, send!
