13 Most Famous Bollywood Dialogues That’ll Take You Back In Time

Bollywood never disappoints! Any person, be it an adult, elderly or a 3-year-old kid, grows up rehearsing and remembering the dialogues that Indian cinema puts forward.

So, let us even look back in time and recall those marvelous words that changed our entire perspective! Hats off to the ones who wrote them and to the ones who portrayed them!

#1. Anand (1970)

Dialogue: "Babu Moshai.. Zindagi badi honi chahiye lambi nahi!"

There have been times when actors introduced us to a whole new world of wisdom. Though nothing's been like how Rajesh Khanna did it.

#2. Amar Prem (1971)

Dialogue: "Pushpa, I hate tears... inhe ponch dalo."

This one's truly iconic. We can bet you must have tried it on your girlfriend/ friend/ wife/ mother! Rajesh Khanna was a real charmer and so were his dialogues.

#3. Pakeezah (1972)

Dialogue: "Aapke paon dekhe, bahut haseen hai. Inhe zameen par mat utariyega, maile ho jayenge."

Today's men still go crazy over using this dialogue for the women they admire.

#4. Yadon Ki Baraat (1973)

Dialogue: "Kutte.. kameene.. main tera khoon pee jaunga."

First time ever, in the history of Indian cinema did an actor threaten canines for making them anemic.

#5. Bobby (1973)

Dialogue: "Prem naam hain mera, Prem Chopra!"

They've got Bond.. James Bond and we have Prem.. Prem Chopra!

#6. Deewar (1975)

Dialogue: Amitabh Bachchan - "Aaj mere paas gaadi hai, bungla hai, paisa hai... tumhare paas kya hai?" Shashi Kapoor - "Mere paas, mere paas... Maa hai..."

This is how a simple scene makes you fall under the mountains of realization!

#7. Namak Halal (1982)

Dialogue: "I can talk English, I can walk English, I can run English... because English is a very phunny language."

Big B accurately summed up what the language is all about! Do we need more facts? Maybe not!

Wasn't Prem Chopra quite a naughty and witty character in all his films?

Dialogue: "Mogambo khush hua!"

It's that one-liner which just made every villain larger than life? Amrish Puri made it feel extraordinary!

#10. Shahenshah (1988)

Dialogue: "Rishte me to hum tumhare baap lagte hain, naam hai Shahenshah."

We believe there's hardly anyone in the country that doesn't mimic this dialogue in front of his/ her friends and family. After all, it's Big B's signature line!
