Ram Rahim, the Dera Sacha Sauda chief who's found guilty of rape with two sadhvis is sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment. The Goldy man aka Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh's net worth was close to $36 million. He also owns 700 acres of agricultural land in Sirsa. His annual income was around 43 crores and properties worth 159 crores. He also had 18 customized luxury cars which were worth a total of 9 crores. According to the Punjab state government, the net worth of Gurmeet Ram Rahim assets in the state is 58.20 crores.

Other than the two rapes cases for which the Dera Sacha Sauda chief is punished for, there are three other cases pending against him.
#1. The first one is the alleged castration of 400 Dera followers in Sirsa. The Dera Sacha cauda chief castrated 400 of his followers and included them in Kurbani dal. The dal was like a private army of Ram rahim who was always ready to die for him. The castration took place in Dera's sect which is located in Sirsa, Haryana.
#2. The second one is the murder of Journalist Ramchandra and Ranjit Singh.Ramchandra Chhatrapati, a Hindi language journalist from Sirsa published an anonymous letter which exposed Ram Rahim in 2002. After this news report, Ramchandra was found dead at his home on October 24 with 5 gunshot wounds in his body. Ram Rahim is also facing serious charges for the murder of Ranjit Singh, who at a time was one of his ardent followers.
