What is the best age to have a baby? The answer to this question depends upon what you as a couple perceive as right and the best. Not only the society but even experts have set certain age limits for pregnancy. However, when you find yourself prepared for the same, go about it!
Just make sure that you take a decision depending upon the pros and cons of different age group along with the pregnancy age risk involved.
Is There An Age Limit For Pregnancy?
A majority of men and women don't believe in setting age limits for progressing their families. But the decision regarding the best age for pregnancy, biologically or through artificial methods, needs to be made as soon as possible.
For an average man or woman, their early 20s is the best age to have a baby. The risk of genetic abnormalities or miscarriage is far less as compared to older age pregnancies. It's even physically easier for women to bear a child. When they enter their 30s, the miscarriage rate goes up to 12% and shoots up to around 18% if the couple tries to conceive in their 40s. The risk of miscarriage is 53% if the pregnancy happens after the age of 45.
So, the younger the couple is, the more easy parenthood is going to be. Complications are less likely to arise, you are energetic, you are healthy and in sync with nature.

The Best Age For Pregnancy (Biologically)
#1. Years between 20 to 24 are considered to be most fertile. A woman's bodily changes are quite regular, emotional stability is maintained, the risk of contracting any diseases is low and the baby is less likely to be affected by any birth defects.
#2. Between 25 to 29, a woman is still likely to undergo an easy delivery and get back into her shape. She can remain emotionally occupied due to personal or professional reasons but chances of miscarriages are still pretty low.
#3. When a woman enters her 30s, the fertility rate starts declining. For someone who is between 30 to 34 and wants to opt for treatments like IVF can still take that decision or try and conceive naturally. The couple is emotionally ready for the settlement although the risk to the baby would remain.

#4. 35 to 39 are the years when the eggs start to fertile. Fertilization becomes difficult and the success rate for even the unnatural treatments diminish. Cesareans generally happen during this age.
#5. 40 and above is that pregnancy age limit where a number of factors determine the chances. Hormonal changes occur, child bearing power deteriorations, miscarriage rates are higher, emotional traumas can be witnessed and even if one is fortunate enough to become a parent, the child can acquire diseases. There pertains a never-ending age gap and taking the responsibility of a kid would be very different from the 20-something-old counterparts.
You don't really have a control over the fertility levels. So, if your body is fit and you are blessed, pregnancy can also be achieved after the 20s. With easier access to several reproductive methods, pregnancy is now possible at any age!
