How to feel better instantly? The question is not difficult for anyone to answer if they know the mechanism involved behind mood swings. Let me bore you with the science behind mood swings. So, whenever you feel like going through a mood change, there’s one or the other hormone causing it within your body due to rise and drop in their level inside your body.

There are several hormones that control mood swings. Estrogen which is the primary sex hormone of women produced by the ovaries is the major influence of mood amongst the women clan. With the increase or decrease of Estrogen within the body may cause mood swings.

Progesterone is the reproductive hormone in women which is known to cause mood changes, insomnia, headaches, and anxiety; whenever the hormonal levels fluctuate. Nor epinephrine and Epinephrine is hormone that functions like adrenaline and surges at times of panic and emergency. This hormone, in times of threat or danger, provokes the stress hormone and causes the blood pressure to rise while leaving the body with high temperature, speedy metabolism, and faster heart rate which makes the person more alert and focused.

Serotonin works as anti-depressant in the body and makes a person feel energetic and calm. However, as the levels drop, a person might get aggressive and impulsive, facing difficulties in coping up strong emotions such as depression and sensitivity. Did you know that GABA (Gamma-Amino Butyric acid) acid affects the growth hormone and also used as a relaxant. However, lower levels of GABA can make you feel restless and anxious. How interesting, isn’t?

Dopamine is the primary hormones of the body that primarily promotes well-being of the body. However, the lower levels of the same in the body can cause a person to feel depressed and worried. Acetylcholine is known to make the effects of adrenaline to humans more complicated by weakening the heart and arteries to trigger other emotions like depression and anxiety.

Now, I guess I have indirectly suggested the method to find out “How to feel better about you” yourself, but, if you couldn’t catch the clue, increase or decrease of hormones in your body causes the mood changes. And, no matter how much you believe, it’s easier than you think-to feel good whenever low. Just do the thing which you love the most, or you always wanted to do, or whatever makes you high and increases the hormonal level. It just takes a person to accept the fact that “this moment is bad, but the next might not be the same” and you just have to wait for it with your heads up and hopes high.

The best way to feel good instantly is try to do face exercises. It may sound lame but you can really lift up your mood and this can make you feel better instantly. These are some of the proven methods by scientists that can be effective in uplifting your mood instantly that includes gorging on scrumptious food, listening to therapy music, catching up with friends or your loved ones, indulge in your hobby and get back to your normal self. You can also try to just go out and think about the things that happened throughout the day and feel rejuvenated.
