To simplify things, a one-page resume is the most suitable one for students who are searching for internships or recent college graduates who have no job experience. A single page resume may also be used by those who are quite new in the professional domain.

For all those who have a fair amount of experience, a two-page resume is the most appropriate one. In fact, a two-page resume is the most standard length that your resume could have. It enables you to incorporate all the important details in an effective manner. This format also allows you to summarize your job profiles and roles in your previous organizations.
Well, albeit it depends upon the kind of jobs you have had along with various other factors, a two-page resume is usually said to be fit for a person who has had five to seven years of experience.

Though in rarest of the rare cases, three page resumes still do exist. One instance where you could use a three-page resume is if you are in the domain of science and have had an enormous amount of publications, patents, or professional degrees. Someone with a remarkable seniority and who has an impressively long list of accomplishments and skills may also use a three-page resume.
