Well, it turns out that eggs can be both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. It is important to note that there are two types of eggs. While one is fertilized, other is non-fertilized. The fertilized egg contains zygote and has life, which means that it falls into the category of non-vegetarian food. The non-fertilized egg, on the other hand, comes without any living cell. Ergo, a non-fertilized egg is certainly appropriate for vegetarians.
