The Blue Whale game has already claimed more than 100 innocent lives. The game rose to the surface when a 14-year-old boy from Mumbai committed suicide by jumping off of his terrace. Although the game has several reported cases of teenage suicides throughout the world, this has undoubtedly become one of the most unnerving suicide games in the history ever. The death of the teen raised an alarm and has sparked a fear among people regarding the infamous "Blue Whale Game."
The Mystery Of 17-Year-Old Russian Girl
The Blue Whale game has its roots in Russia, specifically Moscow where it all started from back in 2010. It is estimated that approximately 24,982 suicides were reported in 2014. Recently, the Russian authorities have arrested a 17-year-old unnamed girl for being the mastermind behind the deadly Blue Whale game, which is said to have claimed more than 130 lives all around the world. The alleged was said to threaten the victims for killing their families if they don't complete the set challenge.
The important question is, the 17-year-old Russian Girl, who’s arrested allegedly for creating the Blue Whale Game. Is she really the mastermind behind the sick Blue Whale game?
Earlier, a 22-year-old Russian boy, Philipp Budeiki was claimed to be the creator of this game and was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment. So, is it possible for both of them being the mastermind behind the deadly game? The answer came later after the arrest of Philipp; the Russian authorities raided a 17-year-old teen’s house in the far East-Russia aftter prolonged efforts by the authorities.

What Was The Role Of 17-Year-Old Russian Girl In The Blue Whale Game Suicides
According to the confession of the accused Russian girl, she wasn't the creator of the sick Blue Whale game, it was Philipp Budeikin. However, she was responsible for the suicides in her own way. She confessed to having played the game earlier, but didn't complete the challenge. She later became the admin on the website and enticed others to complete the task.
The interesting fact is, just like Philipp Burdekin, even she used to pick up people who were into depression and were alone. Depressed people were easy targets, and even easier to manipulate.

What Was The Blue Whale Game?
The Blue Whale game was specifically targeting the depressed people, converting suicide to a thrilling game. As soon as the players sign up for the game, the players are set for tasks for 50 days which ends with the player committing a suicide in the final stage of the game.
However, even the preceding stages were etremely brutal, and included tasks like self-harm, watching horror movies alone, carving a Blue Whale using 50 dots on their arm.
