Have you ever observed those two concave or dimple like indents appearing on your lower back? Do you know why do those back dimples appear on your or anyone else's body? What do back dimples mean or signify?
Why are people with Venus dimples (also popularly known as the lower back dimples) designated as extraordinary? Moreover, where are the back dimples located? And aren't they just another part of our bodies?
Venus dimples or the back dimples aren't like those sharp curves (facial dimples) that appear while smiling. These are usually softer indents that appear on your lower back, just above the butt crack. Lower back dimples are naturally occurring and you cannot get them with exercising or other such methods. The indents develop where the two pelvic bones connect. However, losing weight may at times make the back dimples show up, in case you have fat around that area. They could just be hidden behind your plumpness.
But why are people who have Venus dimples said to be really fortunate? Here's the catch. Lower back dimples signify Venus, the Roman goddess of attraction and beauty. So, the ones who possess those dimples are naturally blessed.

It is also believed that those who have lower back dimples unfold a fabulous time while in bed. They achieve a greater orgasm. Strategic placement of those dimples makes the climax time much easier. Apparently, the back dimples symbolize one's sound health. Such people are also assumed to be great seducers though there isn't any science to back it up. It's kind of possessing some added sex appeal just with a pair of Venus dimples.
According to certain studies, it is believed that a majority of women have such back dimples. On some bodies, it may show up naturally whereas, on others, it might take some effort to tone the body to observe these dimples. However, it isn't just a women thing, even men have these lower back dimples and they are equally considered sensual.
So, on one side, the beauty dimples are all luck and beauty-like. On the other side, are the negative consequences relating to people creating the lower back dimples through cosmetic surgeries. There are people who lose weight in an extremely unhealthy manner just to get these dimples. They cannot accept the fact that those two concave marks cannot be found on everyone's lower back, and it's perfectly fine. It is just a matter of genetics like how some people have chin dimples and some don't. But such an adverse practice has been on a rise since the last few years. Because a few people believe, if they don't have Venus dimples they will undergo any circumstances to have them. Thanks to the social media hype and the consequences that follow!

And it's not really true that lower back dimples are a great combination with uplifted buttocks. It certainly doesn't mean that you would want to sculpt your body for the sake of having it. If you possess the Venus Dimples, don't ask yourself, "why do I have back dimples" - just embrace the indent. If you don't have them, no worries, concentrate elsewhere, maybe to get yourself into a better shape or having a better personality.
