With an eye on the digital revolution, the East municipal corporation has come up with an online portal which will issue health trade license. This online portal will ensure that restaurant and salon owners can get health trade license easily.
In normal course, getting a health trade license could take up to 60 days. Thanks to this online portal, the health trade license can be obtained with much ease now. Those in need of a health trade license can now obtain it in a transparent manner and the time taken for the procurement will also reduce drastically.
Satya Sharma, the Mayor of East Corporation has pointed out that this initiative is a firm step towards ensuring Digital India in the real sense and can be linked to the Good Governance Program of Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India.
To get this health trade license, the interested person will have to come with a proof of legal occupancy, a photo id card, copy of the site premises, copy of PAN/VAT and a proof of water connection would be required.
The health trade license will be made available instantly and the fee can be deposited through cashless transaction method. The corporation proposes to raise an amount of Rs 2-3 Crore annually through this method. Around 100 different kind of health trade license will be issued in this category.
