The entire landscape of the road tax system in Britain was changed back in April this year in a bid to save money for the government. Fines of up to GBP 1000 are now levied upon motorists who have a thing for breaking rules.
The system also bid adieu to the old paper road tax disc which had served for many years, making everything digital. I have been told that an electronic database now keeps a track of who has paid their taxes and whose payment is still due, but I haven’t been able to figure out how exactly to do the same. Do you know how?
