Hockey World League: Indian Hockey Team Thrashed Pakistan In A Spectacular Showdown

When Virat Kohli's team was faltering at every step while trying to take on their arch rivals in Cricket, another Indian team, led by P.R  Shreejesh thrashed Pakistan with an impressive score of 7-1.

The Indian Hockey team faced their neighbors at the Hockey World League Semi-Finals in London, wearing black armbands in solidarity with the slain soldiers in the recent attack in Jammu and Kashmir.

The team sent out a strong message with their black band, and the stand-in captain Harmanpreet Singh said that through their game they wanted to let the world know that they will always stand up for what they believe in.

This is not the first time that the Hockey Team has supported their soldiers, previously they had dedicated the team’s 2016 Champions Trophy  Title to their army men.
