RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) will be closing its operations in India. Bad news for India?

RBS has decided to shut down its operations in India as a part of reducing their operations from 38 countries to 13 countries. RBS has examined its operations in India and so will be reducing its corporate,institutional and retail operations in India. But they are committed to customers as well as employees.

RBS Shutdown Banking Operation

Royal bank of Scotland group, Founded in 1727 in Scotland. It offers so many banking operation like private, personal and business banking or as well as insurance and finance. In 1921 RBS has open branch in India. RBS had shutdown 23 Brach in all over India out of 32. Right now 10 branch in all over India and nearly 7000 employees working for back office and 1000 employees for retail banking operation which support other international operations. And all of customers informed about RBS shutdown. It’s failed to find a buyers.
