1. Taj Mahal, Agra

One of Seven Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal is made up of rich white marble and it is located on the south bank of river Yamuna in the city of Agra. It was built up by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaj Mahal. It was made as a tomb so she can rest peacefully. The interior of Taj is extremely beautiful. The walls are decorated with beautiful stone carving. The view from the riverside enhances the beauty of Taj. It is considered as a symbol of love.

2. Golden Temple, Amritsar

Golden Temple is mainly known as Sri Harmandir Sahib. It is one of the most admired spiritual sites of Sikhism. Amritsar was founded by the fourth guru, Guru Ram Das Ji and Golden Temple was designed by Guru Arjan Dev Ji. The golden temple serves Langar(meals) to over 1, 00,000 peoples a day which is a hallmark of Sikh Gurudwaras. You will feel amazing calmness and peace in the environment once you have entered the Harmandir Sahib. In the early nineties, Maharaja Ranjit Singh secured the Punjab region from outside attack and covered the upper floors of the gurdwara with 750kg of gold which gave it English name Golden Temple.

5. Udaipur, Rajasthan
