You could have food that helps in the induction of labor. Pineapples have an enzyme called bromelain. It may help in opening up the cervix. Other foods that have basil, oregano or ginger may help in the induction of labor.

Many women recommend drinking red raspberry leaf tea before your due date. This tea strengthens and tones the uterus for the labor. Even if this way of inducing labor doesn’t work, at least you will stay hydrated.
