5 Reasons Why Rolls-Royce Cars Are A Class Apart

The epitome of luxury, Rolls-Royce needs no introduction to anyone. This British car brand has made a name for itself in the automobile industry based on its sheer lavishness. From Jennifer Lopez, Jay Z and David Beckham to the famous television personality Kim Kardashian, everyone has shown their love for Rolls-Royce cars.

The simplest or most basic Rolls-Royce models sell for over USD 200,000, and the company recently unveiled its most expensive custom-built model yet a few months back, which came with a price tag of almost USD 13 million.

Seeing these numbers, one has to ask what makes these cars so unique that they dig such a deep hole in one’s pocket. If you are wondering the same thing, keep reading.

#1. A Rolls-Royce Lasts Forever

Well, not exactly forever but almost as long. You would be surprised to know that approximately 65 percent of the Rolls-Royce ever built are still on the streets, which speaks volumes about the durability of these cars. Another amazing thing is that the first car ever built by the company, which was a Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, ran uninterruptedly for a whopping 24000 km.

#2. You Get The Finest With A Rolls-Royce

Rolls-Royce's attention to detail is incredible. Do you know that the process of procurement of leather for the interiors of a Rolls-Royce begins from the welfare of the cows?! Yes, that’s true. They create leather from Simmental cows raised in a moist region with a temperate climate, so the leather does not dry out. It’s astounding that only one in 100 cows pass the test and are used in producing leather. They even make sure that the RR symbols in the rims of the wheels remain upright at all times while driving.

#3. You Will Never Hear A Rolls-Royce Coming

Rolls-Royce makes sure that its clients get their money’s worth with an exceptional driving experience. The engines of these cars are perhaps the quietest out there. People say that the clock in the dashboard is the loudest noise you will hear while driving around in a Rolls Royce at 100 mph.

#4. Everything Is Hand Made

The sprawling Rolls-Royce factory is home to only four robots, of which, two are used for primer coating the car. Rest all the work, including spraying, polishing, finishing, and waxing is done by hands. Merely pin-striping a car, which is done by a single person using ox and squirrel hair, takes about three hours to complete. Even the intricate leather embroidery and the fine lacquer paneling on the Rolls-Royce Ghost’s door is done by experts in the woodwork and leather shops of the factory.

#5. They Give You Exactly What You Want

When you opt for a custom-made, Rolls-Royce delivers you the car handmade just for you. There are infinite options for you to design your car, and make it truly stand out on the streets. You can pick one of the 44000 shades and if you find none of these impressive, then just get together with the paint specialists and create the color of your choice. You can have the Spirit of Ecstasy symbol made in gold and even have it encrusted with diamonds; any way you want.
