Keeping project related data in share drives only

Locking the system before leaving the desk 

Not using the internet to download unauthorized software 

Suggest other important notes and practices to follow to secure data?

Everyday, Common-Sense Security Habits:

  1. Do not share SUNetIDs and passwords
  2. Don't give out personal information 
  3. Use strong passwords for all your accounts.
  4. Lock your computer screen
  5. Never leave sensitive hardcopy material exposed;
  6. Keep your personal information in a secure place
  7. Ensure your environment is physically secure  etc.....
