With rules for green card holders becoming strict, the confusion related to trump's ban in the US are causing much anguish. The immigration executive order has already led to mass confusion at airports. The chaos related to Trump's travel ban can be understood from the fact that even the agencies who are to implement these orders are in confusion themselves.
Much confusion prevailed as lawmakers associated with Donald Trump’s Government were themselves not clear on the executive orders. In a press conference White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus said that the order will not affect green card holders rights. The contradiction surfaced hours later when it was mentioned that the order of course affected Green Card holders from Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Syria, Yemen, Somalia and Libya.

Immigration from these countries has been stopped for a temporary period of 90 days. Donald trump has meanwhile said that his first priority as President of United States of America is to protect the rights of its citizens and everything else comes secondary. These executive orders are seen a step in this direction. It is another thing that Donald trump did not realize the effect such a move could have on long term politics in the global scenario.
Immigrants from these seven countries are however worried as the door of opportunities in the United States of America stands closed, as of now.
