Comedian Kapil Sharma is in deep trouble. The successful world of comedy which he had created during the past years is suddenly crumbling. His mid-air brawl with Co-actor Sunil Grover is now costing him dearly. The latest buzz is that Sony is not in a mood to renew the Rs 106 crore deal. The channel has reportedly given one month to Kapil Sharma to set the house in order or face removal of the show from the channel.
The dwindling TRPs has already affected the profits of the channel and Sony will not be in a position to continue the show if things go on like this in the long run. Odds are high against Kapil Sharma as Sunil Grover, Chandan Prabhakar, Sugnadha Mishra and Ali Asgar have left the show.
Sunil Grover is already planning his live shows and his character of Dr. Gulati has reportedly become a rage. It is therefore highly unlikely that his former colleagues will now return to the show. The rating of last two episodes has fallen drastically and the channel is no longer able to bear the losses.
Kapil Sharma had reportedly thrown a shoe at Sunil Grover after the brawl and the situation turned nasty on the flight back from Melbourne to New Delhi.
