The audience are gifted by the movie Manje Bistre this Baisakhi. Sukhi , while arranging for his sister’s marriage, meets Rano and directly falls in love with her. Rano, being Sukhi’s friend, is hesitant. Sukhi too finds it difficult to express his feelings to her. But when he does, she reveals that she is already engaged to someone else. Once Sukhi realizes that Rano too likes her, he goes out of his way to get married to her. How he manages to succeed in his effort forms the rest of the story.
