An American Professional Basketball player, Stephen Curry was born on March 14, 1988 in Akron in Ohio. Stephen is the son of former NBA player Dell Curry and perhaps this explains his interest and good performance in the game.
Stephen plays for Golden State Warriors of National Basketball Association in United States and has been a key performer. During the year 2014-15 Stephen Curry won the Most Valuable Player Award in NBA and is credited with leading his team to first championship win ever since 1975.
His first experience with national team came in the year 2007 when he was chosen for FIBA Under 19 World Championship. Due to his efforts the national team was able to win a silver medal in the championship. He also played briefly at the 2010 FIBA World Championship. His sojourn with international career has taken a hit as he withdrew from being considered for the 2016 Olympics in Rio due to knee and ankle ailments.
On the personal front, Stephen Curry has married his girlfriend Ayesha Alexander and has two daughters. He lives in Alamo California and preaches Christianity publicly. Stephen has had an extremely successful career and has won many awards during his professional journey including NBA champion in 2015 and NBA Most valuable player in 2014 and 2015 among other awards.
