Does The Texas Church Shooting Prove The Need for Tough Gun Laws?

The US hadn’t even recovered from the horrific Las Vegas Massacre of 1 Oct when another such incident has shaken up the entire country. At least 26 people have been left dead with about 20 wounded after a gunman opened fire at First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs, turning a quiet morning into a hell.

The shooter, Devin Kelley, who had been discharged from Air Force due to bad conduct, allegedly used an AR-15 semiautomatic rifle to carry out this massacre. It has also been reported that less than a week ago, Kelley had posted the picture of the gun on the social media with the caption, ‘she’s a bad b****’. In the light of these events, several people have raised arguments for the need of tougher gun control laws in the country. Do you agree?

Yes
Why did we have to wait for such incidents to take place? The gun laws should have been tougher since the beginning.
