Why vegetarianism is good for us?

Eating non vegetarian food products like meat enhances the risk of deposition of cholesterol in the coronary arteries, cardio vascular blockages, which eventually leads to cardiac arrests and heart attacks.

However, vegetarian diets are way more healthier, when compared to that of the non vegetarian ones. The pure vegetarian diet helps in treating the complications of heart diseases and cancerous multiplication of cells as well. It is also helpful to prevent the occurrence of coronary blockages and further cardiac arrests.

The green leafy vegetables are abundant sources of the essential nutrients that a body requires to fight away the diseases. Vegetarian diets mainly are of two types: lacto-ovo and strict (vegan). Lacto-ovo vegetarians eat by-products of animals like eggs and yogurt along with fruits, grains, vegetables, nuts, soy and many more.

However, vegans don't even eat the by-products. As per studies, vegetarian diet is superior nutritionally, when compared to the non vegetarian diet. It helps in lowering the cholesterol level, reducing the blood pressure, decreasing Diabetes Type-2 and hypertension.

The vegetarians generally have a lower BMI, reduced risk of cancer and chronic disorders. It helps in increasing the level of endurance and stamina as well. It helps an individual to become peaceful, calm and composed. Also, the non vegetarian food products have a lot of contaminated toxic materials.

Consumption of vegetarian food helps in eliminating the risk of being exposed to toxic materials and stress hormones.
Though, many of us are extremely fond of non vegetarian foods, vegetarianism keeps us healthy and fit.
