Employee suffering from disease like TB , Cancer etc has long on going treatment which requires complete rest and person is forced to take leave from office for longer period of time. Should companies pay their employee during these leaves especially when the disease is treatable ?
It depends on the company and the behaviour of that particular employee of the company.If the employee is serving the company from a long time period and his/her work has been valuable to the company then company must pay salary of employee going through chronic illness treatment. If the company couldn't afford of paying full salary then company should at least pay 50%.
