The modern world is loaded with various manias with the emerging technologies. Selfie is one such mania that is ruling the current day world. The word “Selfie” is introduced by Oxford Dictionary in the year 2013. People are crazy about taking selfies.

Unfortunately, many are not even taking precautions while taking selfies. They want to take selfies irrespective of locations and situations. Because of this mania, people are not taking enough safety measures. Media is requesting the people to take care while taking a selfie.

Many instances had been revealed by media where few unlucky people lost their lives while taking a selfie. Keeping this view in mind, people should be careful about selfies. If you say that you are not among those who are addicted to selfies, people might find you weird.

They might think that you are not keeping up with the latest trends. Also, you might be categorized into technically illiterates’ category. Taking selfie is not wrong. But, we need to be aware of the situations and our surroundings.
