What is Type 2 Diabetes?

According to the American Diabetes Association, Diabetes is a problem with your body that causes blood glucose (sugar) levels to rise higher than normal. It is also known as hyperglycemia. Type 2 diabetes is the most common type of diabetes that people have.

In Type 2 Diabetes, the pancreas is not able to produce enough insulin or the body does not use the insulin properly. This is known as insulin resistance. Initially, the pancreas is able to make extra insulin, but over time, it isn’t able to keep up and cannot make enough to regulate the blood sugar levels.

Let’s take a look at the symptoms, effects of Type 2 Diabetes and how to take care of it through diet and natural treatment.

The body has to rely on other sources of energy like tissues, muscles or organs. The early symptoms of Type 2 Diabetes could include:

Depends on the severity of the disease

No, Type 2 diabetes patients are not solely dependent on the insulin. They can also go through other oral treatment or diet plans. The Insulin treatment is done when the person is not able to produce insulin. They inject insulin in order to make the pancreas work as per the requirement of the body. There are many other treatment that can done for instance, metaformin that helps to lower the blood sugar level; sulfonylureas that helps the pancreas to produce insulin for the body and more. There can also be side effects to this treatment but you can find the best one for yourself.
