I have not come across any one among my acquaintance who has stopped smoking because they have been moved by any anti smoking campaign.
There are a lot of marketing campaigns that highlight on the dangerous impact of smoking but little do such campaigns make any difference. They just fizzle out very soon and people go back to their old habits.
As long as these campaigns are held responsibly and are not another marketing gimmick, I think they can help in creating the required awareness.
