Are Headaches during Pregnancy normal? How to treat them?

Are you experiencing headaches during pregnancy? Are you aware of the reason why they happen? Is a headache during your first trimester often the cause of your worry?

A headache during pregnancy is one of those symptoms that women experience due to the hormonal changes taking place within the body during pregnancy. They are absolutely normal and should not be a reason for worry. They may occur at various intervals and stages of your pregnancy. But, they remain most common during the first and the third trimesters. What causes these headaches during the first trimester is the constant increase in the volume of blood in the body during this time. Also, it is the rise of hormone levels within the body. By the time you reach your second trimester the headache generally reduces because the hormone levels remain high on a steady basis.
