There are ads that put pressure on women to aspire to unrealistic standards, demean the gender as a whole and encourage men to promote those same expectations through content (images, videos etc.) catered for quick social sharing. This shows how women are perceived and also kind of insulted.
This is 21st century and women of this era are so amazing because of all the things they can offer to the society, to other people and to themselves. Women today are much more intelligent, self sufficient and stronger than ever before in history. A woman's opinion and thoughts are more important and considered by others during this century because she is more education and more well informed about the changing world. And in such era where women are not less then men in any way, such advertisement demeaning the importance and self esteem of women is very inappropriate and not at all acceptable.
Yes,ads like Ola ad "Girlfriend chalti hai Rs.525/km" talking down to women, they should not compare the average with the girl. Shame on the Add makers.
