For a few of us, gap years are embarrassing as well as frustrating. But, why do we even let ourselves feel so? I personally do not find anything wrong with taking a break from studies as long as this time is being utilized in a positive and constructive manner. However, every person's gap year would look distant from each other.
This time is basically a long break from the routine stuff that one has been doing. But, you can definitely incorporate several options combining the things you could otherwise not do. But, you can definitely incorporate several options combining the things you could otherwise not do.
There are a few things that worked for me including travel which was completely a transformational experience. I also took up volunteering commitments to help the needy as well as a part-time (paid) job for a while to learn about responsibilities.
