With today's technological advancement mobiles are coming with a number of features/tools like the internet, calculator, different social media apps. These do have a number of advantages but the disadvantages are overpowering the advantages because of the misuse of these apps and features. The misuses vary from indecent texts, videos and pictures that outrage modesty and using the calculator for cheating in the school examination.
Recently a girl of class VII was caught using the mobile for calculation during the maths examination. The school authorities have taken the matter seriously and withheld her promotion.
Years back a scandal of making obscene pictures viral by a well-known schoolboy in Delhi had raised hue and cry all over India.
So what is the solution to such pranks? Can Indian companies manufacture mobiles for children that can be only used for calls? I won't discourage mobile for school children as its very essential for the safety of a child.
