How to tell the Difference between a Good Friend & Best Friend?

There are good friends, and then there are best friends. While friends help you get by, best friends are like your extended family.

After spending an entire day gossiping and lurking around with your buddies, you know that at the end of the day you will always go back to your best friend to share the deepest of your secrets or the silliest of your fantasies. You can make out the difference between your friends and besties just by looking at the level of comfort you share with them.

Here is a list of thing which separates your best friends from your friends:-

#1. Spilling The Beans

You need to be careful with your words while you are with your friends. With your best friends, you can share whatever you want, even the darkest of your secrets.

Your best friends will always be rooting up for even the tiniest of details of your life.

#2. The Food War

All the food etiquette and civilities come in to place while you are eating with your friends. However, when you are with your best friends, that simple lunch could turn into a war.

Your best friends will never be courteous and polite in front of you and will, instead, fight with you to have the last piece.

#3. While With Crush

Friends are on their best behavior when you introduce them to your crush. Your best friends, on the contrary, leave no chance to embarrass you in front of your crush.

Your best friend and you might even end up developing a code language to be able to talk about your crush anywhere.

#4. Moments Of Mortification

In the event of an embarrassing situation, your friends will always lend an extending hand and cheer you. However, your best friends will engage in a laughter riot and leave no opportunity to remind you of the incident even after years.

#5. The Compliment Game

The best way to differentiate between a friend and a best friend is by the compliments they give you. If you get flattering words of appreciation from a person, it may be your friend, because best friends give honest opinions. Your best friends will not hesitate to tell you that your new haircut is a complete fiasco.

#6. The Hospitality

Your friends will exercise their excellent hospitality skills every time you visit them. Whereas, when you walk into your best friend’s house, you do not even expect a warm welcome. You know where the food is and you might even end up serving your best friend.

#7. The Broke Days

Bailing out on plans with friends is the only plausible option when you are broke. That's not the case with best friends! Your best friends can pool in all the money you fall short of to ensure you do not cancel on them.

#8. Fights And Arguments

Disputes and disagreements are a rare phenomenon when it comes to your friends. However, you do not think even once before lashing out at your best friend. The comfort level you share with your best friends allows you to downright honest with them.

#9. Recurrent Rants

Friends find it hard to put up with your frequent rants. Your best friends, on the contrary, are aware of your daily monologs and have already come up with a list of ways to deal with them.
