How Often Should You Wash Your Hair?
#. Hair Type
The number of times you wash your hair depends on their texture. Thicker or curlier hair can go without washing for a long time as compared to fine straight hair that needs to be washed quite often.
Oil is one of the major reasons behind hair washing. Oily hair looks disgraceful because of the hair limps that greasy surface creates. Teenagers and adults produce excess amounts of oil in comparison to children and older people, and therefore require regular hair washing.

#. Type Of Hair
Straight and thin hair needs frequent hair washing, whereas curly hair does not demand too much. Oil doesn’t tend to coat the strands in case of thick, wavy and curly hair.
You will want to wash your hair more frequently if you sweat a lot? Working out also causes sweating, and therefore requires regular hair wash.
How Often Should You Wash Curly Hair?
#. Fine Curly Hair
Fine curls require the hair to be washed regularly because even a little amount of oil can make them look heavy and limp. Use a gentle shampoo to rinse the oil off.
#. Medium Thick Curly Hair
If you have medium curls, then you can wash them every two or three days in a week. A small amount of oil will make them look better; therefore no regular washing is required.
Rinse your hair with water and massage your scalp to sustain your curls in between regular washing.

#. Thick Or Coarse Curly Hair
You are lucky if you have thick curls because they do not require much washing. Washing your hair once a week will keep your hair look attractive even with the natural oil production. If you want to refresh your curls, then try a dry shampoo or co-wash them with a conditioner.
