Therefore, do some research and try to know in advance if the person you are meeting is partially or completely blind. It will help you to communicate with them accordingly. If you are meeting a blind person at their place, remember that never mess up with the things that are kept at their place. Blind people keep their things at proper places so that they can find them whenever they want to. Some of these also act as props for communication. Before communicating with a blind person, also keep in mind that you should use proper terminology. Do not use demeaning words that may make them feel that you look down upon them. Also, refrain from using the kind of words that put them in a position where people needs to show mercy towards them. Treat them just like your any other friend and it will help to fuel your communication in a healthy way.
