How to make Lemonade when Life gives you Lemons?

You must have heard the proverbial term ‘When life throws lemons at you, make lemonade’ to motivate yourself to overcome a difficult situation in life. The idiom is not carried out to guide you in the making sweet and sour lemonade, rather helps you to come out of an adverse situation.

The popular idiom was formulated by ‘Christian anarchist’ writer Elbert Hubbard in 1915 obituary which he had written down and published for Marshall Pinckney Wilder who is an actor. The idiom has helped those people who are not willing to lose hope easily and struggle to come out of tough circumstances. Though, it is believed that the saying is much easier said than done anyway.

There are certain things you can do to make your life positive:

Do not give up on life when it’s broken into pieces because there are things to look upon and be grateful for. You may find it tough to deal with life, but soon you would start to comprehend that there are many things to be thankful for when you see some things going smoothly in your life.

#2. Always Remain Calm!

It is pivotal not to take too much stress in spite of problems in your life. Also, you can attain relaxation if you learn to breathe deeply several times when life takes a toll on you. You could try searching for a place where you could feel safe or contemplate on what is happening and how you wish to deal with it.

Dealing with your problems gracefully is be in your hands. There are going to be evils as well, but it’s on you how you plan to deal with them.

#4. Accept Things

Never push away problems, rather accept them by saying ‘yes.' This way you become stronger in dealing with tougher problems with ease and grace. You also help yourself by strengthening your emotional front in order to cause lesser pains. Try it out to gain a sense of satisfaction!

#5. Take A Walk Outside

It may seem to be a vague solution but looking at the blue sky and hearing the birds chirping could make you feel better and make you realize that there is a lot in the world than the sadness you imbibe. It might be a possibility that going for walks in nature could not make you feel any better but can surely make you feel good about yourself later.

You could deal with life and your problems easily if you learn the lesson from your previous mistakes. So, whenever you are confronted with a problem, concentrate on it as a challenge that you have to overcome.
