The term ‘buffet’ has been traveling all around the globe and giving out some major eating goals only if you find a restaurant worth your money! The foremost players who initiated the buffet system were France and Sweden. The Swedish smorgasbord was started for visitors that come from another town and would show up unexpectedly. Starting with just bread and butter, the term is known as 'buttered bread board,' the smorgasbord display grew to include several sequent meal courses, starting from salted fish, eggs, and boiled vegetables, then moving on to cold cuts, warm entrees, and salads, and finishing with dessert and coffee. The French provided a better model by packing up their buffet table to show prominence and to focus on entertainment than cooking.

Later, Sweden people brought their customary smorgasbord to America in the year 1939 at the world fair in New York. They offered a respectable selection and on the top a rotating platform inside three crowns restaurant.
The man behind the ‘all you can eat buffet’ didn’t have a smorgasbord in mind before starting the buffet system. He just tried to keep his customers who did gambling happy. He was born in Alberta, Canada in the year 1919. His name was Herb McDonald who made his way to the south of Las Vegas where he worked as a publicist at ‘El Rancho Vegas,' one of the first hotels on the strip. It started with one of the night in the year 1940 where he went back into the kitchen and got out some cold cuts, bread, and cheese and had spread them on the bar for his customers who were famished. The food selection became a hit, and soon he transformed it into a twenty- four hour all you can eat ‘Buckaroo Buffet.' For just $1, people could choose from an array of selection of cold cuts, salad, sea food and more. So later on, this idea got pulled off well by all the restaurants who copied his style of serving food.

Let us give you some tips on ‘All you can eat’ buffets:
#1. Don’t Forget To Do Your Research
I’m sure you don’t want to crash into a restaurant that doesn’t offer good food suiting your taste buds. So, before gate-crashing a restaurant, you must do a thorough research on the best restaurants in town and do read their customer reviews before you drool on their menu. Some restaurants show a lavish menu, but the quality of their food is way too poor to digest!
#2. Give Preference To Your Taste
Some restaurants show appealing prices to lure you towards their food menu. But, do not fall into their trap and rather focus on the food they serve. What’s the point of paying a small amount also when you did not savor the curry? Value for money should be the priority rather than the rates they offer.
#3. Restaurant With A Variety
Always enter a restaurant that offers a variety that means with Chinese cuisine, they should also serve Italian, Indian and Mexican. Variety spices up your life and eating a variety will help you to deal with your tough times efficiently. I’m sure you don’t want to feel disappointed when you visit a restaurant, and they have one special dish and that also goes wrong!
#4. Go For Lunch Rather Than Dinner
The prices for lunch buffet are generally low compared to dinner buffets. Sometimes, the lunch rates last up to 5 pm but beware that some restaurants may limit up to the lunch menu.
#5. Make room for new stuff
So, it’s a bit of controversial subject. But to put new stuff, you need to get old system out of the system. Do you do that before gorging on another big meal?
Let us know what you think on the above points.
