How to overcome Laziness?

Laziness is just the lack of will to do what is best for you and sometimes we are so caught up in our own laziness that we pass on good opportunities just because we want to slack. Why do we feel lazy? It could be that we don’t feel comfortable with success as it brings a certain guilt that renders us uncomfortable or that we have lost all hope and convinced ourselves that nothing we do can change our situation which makes us disinclined to act.

We are born astride the grave, the light gleams an instant and then it’s night once more summarizes our existence but when this truth strikes us, our response to it determines the rest of our life. Being lazy is disrespectful to your self-confidence and to the people who believe in you. You can either be lazy and abandon all hope from life or keep yourself active so that you rejoice in completing daily challenges and tasks that bring a sense of achievement and never make you complacent.

Tips On How To Overcome Laziness

#1. Don’t Be Too Hard On Yourself

Often, we beat ourselves about things when we push ourselves to get more out of them to get the kind of response that no one has ever got, and this can seriously block all positive vibes. This is because we start telling ourselves that we are worthless and cannot do this thing that our mind wants us to do. We all get into the zone where our minds don’t accept any reason in light of the obsession that has gripped them, and we need to get away from this and value the things we can still do. Accepting our glass ceiling is more beneficial to you than you may think as it never lets you feel worthless because if you do, then you may become increasingly lazy and inefficient.

Most of us are lazy because we simply fail to tie ourselves to a routine and even when we make a plan and take a resolution that we will follow it our commitment doesn’t last for long opening the gate for guilt to enter and consume us. Self-discipline is all about distancing and ultimately disconnecting oneself from activities which are detrimental to one’s health and happiness. All of us are weak and get sucked into a temptation which we know is hazardous to our relationships and current lifestyle. Nonetheless, we yield and lament ourselves for yielding which only happens to people who lack self-discipline as the ones who tell themselves that they have to stick to a few things sure as hell sticks to them no matter what stands in their way.

Every one of us is blessed with abilities that the others can only marvel at and applause, but this is not the case when things are not going well with us personally. We may defame the ones who have abilities which we don’t have and become envious of them breeding negativity inside us that makes us lazy and unproductive. One must always remind oneself that we are all in this together and they won’t be inferior or superior in contrast to another person if they draw up comparisons as there is but little difference between the two as you can do what they do and they can do what you do. It’s just a matter of being high on energy which sometimes you are and sometimes the person who you see perform is. The ones who make performance their true friend never become lazy and unproductive as they keep drawing inspiration from people, the ones who perform with a lot of energy.
