Is shedding clothes the new cool for cheering someone or something?

Now-a-days whenever there is a national victory, whether it be sports or socially or politically, people shed their clothes for cheering the winner. It is becoming a new trend in western countries. People just take off all their clothes in groups and give a naked tribute to support something.
