People are ditching the regular red shades and trying out different colors for the bridal wear.

Despite the fact that I don't really nurture a soft corner towards wedding or wedding attires, some of the gorgeous pieces of clothing worn by brides these days would melt the harshest of non -believer. I would definitely love to try on some of the ethnic clothes especially lehngas in a pink and gold shade.

If I were to pick a bridal trend , I would definitely go for unconventional colors. Colors like bottle green or a baby pink will do justice to my big day.

I was myself searching for Indian bridal wear trends and I found some really interesting ones thanks to the Indian fashion week. Here are some styles that seem to be trending this year, both on and off the runway...

1. Golden Dresses

It is always going to be the most trending cloth for any generation. It enhances the grace of the person wearing it and adds to the color of the season.

2. Mirror Works

Well, all that women want to wear. A dress with lots of mirror work explains the beauty of Gujarati & Rajasthani clothes. Even the foreigners come for places to buy this precious traditional wear of India.

3. Lehenga

Never going out of trend, is the most wanted clothes off anytime. With a variety of combination which can be used with it. The most worn is a crop top with heavy works. Another combination is the Jacket again with loads of mirror works. A cape with the lehenga adds to a classical look. Nothing better with a heavy earring, and the evening just sets in perfect.

Among the latest bridal trends that have taken over the fashion industry, pastels or neutral color palette is probably the most raging one. Top designers have successfully traded the mainstream red and maroon bridal color palette with the neutrals such as driftwood gray, creamy latte, tea pink, rose gold, silver, off-white and ivory and the result is sheer perfection and royal splendor. Fringes and tassels are also trending high this year. Even the king of couture Faraz Manan testified to this delightful trend in his latest collection 'Mirage'. If you are a bride looking for making a statement, cold shoulder gowns and peplum cut cholis are a latest big thing in bridal trends. Embellished belts or Kamarband gracefully draping the bridal gown are also seen across the ramps.
