Taking the right decision in life is very important as on it depends the future and life of many people. Therefore the mature person has to be a perfect decision maker. Sometimes, however, decisions have to be quick and we have to use our ready wit to handle the situation.

Take the example of a road accident. Normally it so happens that people and even the doctor don't touch the injured but inform the police, but this is not humanity. A mature and balanced minded person would always apply first aid to the injured and take him to the hospital. An accident victim life is a priority than the legal formalities related to it. 

In situations dealing with the young and the old. Both have to be handled patiently and carefully, only the ways should be different. An elderly person is sometimes adverse to changes as he has been used to a different kind of life.

In this digital world of technology, there are still some senior citizens to fail to handle an android or smart phones or a computer. It is here where we should be patient and help them out in their day to day life if they are helpless and have no one to help them.

The young on the other hand are adamant sometimes when no one listens to their gentle request or they harbour some wrong notion or attitude. Here patient reasoning and counselling works better than a reprimand.  

Firm handling becomes a necessity when obstinacy of both young and old can harm them.  Some elderly people have the tendency of avoiding their routine diet and medicine. Leaving such a person to himself is not maturity rather we should firmly coax them to take their food and medicine timely.

A mature person is happy and makes people happy.
