Should I walk away from this apartment application process?

I applied for an apartment on the 31st .. I was told by the Mrs that it would take 3-5 business days and that good chances it will be shorter than thay. Although the application says they will reach out within 4 days of the application. Business days that is. I called yesterday on the third business day. They said they would find something out by that day or the next day. Here we are... the 4th business day.. and I heard nothing back nor a voicemail. Tomorrow would make the 5th. I was going to call tomorrow to check in as a last resort. Being that 3-5 business days was what the lady told me... the application says otherwise.... so I was going to give it until tomorrow afternoon. If I didn't hear back I'd move on. Like I understand patience but theyou told me they would call me by either that day or the next and don't worry about calling they'd call me. But last time they told me that..they didnt.. so here we are again Saying they'd call back this day.. but they didnt. Plus it's after the time frame on the application. I'm like stressing and don't know if I should wait longer. My honest vibe is giving them until tomorrow. And that is it. I meet all the requirements. Like... cmon. It's just.. as a business I get it things take time but for you to tell me one thing and do another says alot..

so what should I do? Am I being impatient? This is my first rental experience anyways.. maybe that explains alot...and today I get calls on the 5th business day from three different numbers first one was a text saying if I want to finalize I have to contact the investigations team; contact them they say they have all they need and everything is complete. Contact leasing office. That's it... I send a text back to the leasing office number while I'm on the floor at work that I called and they told me to call this other woman she asked me a couple questions on my background.... and she just says... thanks thats all we need. Still nothing!!! This will be after the rntire time frame of what wa son the application process and also after what was told to me...so nowhy I'm annoyed that I'm being annoyed and contacted about everything at the last hour.... should I walk?.. i dunno. Some advice would be great.
