The yearly championship game namely ‘Super Bowl’ is the National Football League (NFL). It is the climax to the regular season that shows up in the late summer of the previous calendar year. Generally, Roman numerals are used to recognize every game than the year in which it is usually held.
Do you know why this game was created? It happened to be created because of the merger agreement between American Football League (AFL) and NFL. There was an agreement which said that both the champion league teams would be given a chance to play in AFL-NFL world championship game till the time merger was to begin in the year 1970 on an official basis. Once the merger was done, every league was given a different name such as ‘conference’. And, since then, the game has been initiated between conference champions to describe the NFL’s league champion. At present, NFC has an upper hand over the league with 26 wins.

#1. Philadelphia Eagles
The American football team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is the reputed member of the East Division of the NFC and NFL. They have till now won 3 NFL titles and had made 2 appearances in the super bowl and lost twice in the year 1980 and 2004. It was formulated in the year 1933. The team has got its name from the Blue Eagle, which is a sign used for the New Deal stimulus programs happened during the time of great depression.

#2. Atlanta Falcons
This team is also a professional football team in Atlanta, Georgia. They are seen competing in NFL for being a sound as a member club of the league’s NFC South Division. They joined the NFL in the year 1965 and received an handsome offering to the owner then, Rankin Smith, to prevent him from joining AFL who was their rival. They have shown up in two Super Bowl matches and faced defeat.

It is a professional American football team in Phoenix metropolitan area. They compete in NFL by being a member of the league’s NFL West Division. It was formulated in the year 1898. They have till now won 2 NFL championships when they were in Chicago but it was their hard luck that they couldn’t win the Super Bowl.

It is a professional American football team in Buffalo, Niagara Falls metropolitan area. They compete in NFL being the member club of the league’s AFC East Division. The team almost had a bloodline in the 1990’s but they somehow lost in 4 consecutive Super Bowl show ups. Though, they could show their smiling faces by winning AFL championships in the year 1964 and 1965.

It is an American football team in Cleveland, Ohio. They compete in NFL by being a member club of the AFC North Division. They have surprisingly won 8 league championships in the years 1946,1947,1948,1949 and more. In the year 1980’s, They lost to AFC championship games r times to the Broncos.
