Who has better pizza, Domino's or Pizza Hut? - Quite an age old question. It has caused several arguments but never ever have there been a conclusion for the same. Pizza Hut fans are protective of their choices and Domino's pizza fans are protective of theirs. 

However, at the end, every foodie slobbers over pizzas, and end up eating the entire medium/ large pizza by themselves.

Who Has Better Pizza: Domino's or Pizza Hut?

Until the food item is appealing to your taste buds, there isn't any comparison. But if one gets into the details, there are several things that can bother someone. Both Pizza Hut and Domino's pizzas are of the American styles except the ones that are regionally created for attracting more and more foodies. Pizzas are after all a fulfilling blend of bread, cheese, tomato and/ or meat. It's one of the most palatable combos popular around the globe. American style pizzas are loaded with cheese, contain thicker crusts and even more loaded toppings unlike the styles of Italy. But whatever be the case, it's food, it's pizza, it's yummy and it really doesn't matter whether the originality has been maintained or not.

Coming to the point, Dominos vs Pizza Hut, who does it better? The answer is quite subjective. Both the fast food kings never claim to be authentic, but try to deliver the taste that each person likes. It's like a two-horse race. In the year 2016, both of their gross sales made up around 69% of the Top 10 pizza groups combined.

There have been several taste tests especially that of the pepperoni pizzas. According to the Lifehacker, AU, they undertook an internal blind taste test wherein Pizza Hut slices were kept on the left-hand side and Domino's pizza slices were positioned on the right. There were around 10-12 people who tried both the slices without knowing the companies they were of. 

A majority of them chose Domino's pizza as the better one. Right one was clearly their choice. Domino's pizza had high-quality topping distribution, right texture, just the right crust and excellent overall flavor. The sauce tasted flavorful, evenly spread and the base was fluffier. Every flavor was easily melting in the mouth, nothing felt dry and was absolutely crisp. Whereas the pizza on the left (Pizza Hut) felt bulkier, a little unhealthy, had a dry base and had mixed up ingredients.

Another experiment by "first we feast", both Pizza Hut and Domino's pizzas were examined for concluding the better tasting option. Domino's was crowned as the pizza king!

Crust 

Pizza crust from Pizza Hut was really buttery, heavy and something that would instantly melt in your mouth. It was found to be objectively delicious. However, Dominos pizza had a gloriously tasting crust, well prepared with garlic seasoning and nothing short of the right moves.

Sauce 

Accompanied with a super thick crust of the Pizza Hut pizza along with an ample amount of tomato sauce/ paste, but it wasn't so. However, Domino's sauce tasted identical but sweetness in the sauce countered the spiciness of pepperoni.

Toppings 

The size of the pepperoni was measured along with its placement on the pizza. Pizza Hut won the battle. They found 50+ pepperoni coins on the surface and the potential pepperoni coverage was about 62.34%.

Wildcard Entry 

Testing the limits of decency, two other pizzas were ordered and Domino's was the winner again. Taste was fantastic, nothing was ruined and everything was appropriately bundled.

Every taste test discusses the ingredient coverage, delivery nuances, spicy-salty flavors and chewy-dry crust. But the initial bite tells it all. Tastes of the universe fall into your mouth!
