To finish what you started is imperative as it is difficult to sale in two different boats at the same time. We all have heard of Ivan Pavlov's Theory of Reinforcement. If a person is rewarded upon the successful completion of a task, then he is more likely to perform better in pursuit of the reward. Each one of us goes through days where we undermine ourselves and feel depressed. This hampers our productivity, and act as a threat to our happiness and productivity. Rewarding yourself every time you make progress is the right way to go about your work. This practice also stops you from slipping into the web of unproductivity by keeping your spirits and hopes up.

Don’t try to micromanage all the parts of the project yourself. It can create the impending feeling of doing everything yourself and make you feel that taking ideas from other people will make you appear inferior. You may be an expert on the subject, but even experts don’t have moments of brilliance every day. If you feel that you are not able to perform at your best, then be open to seeking help from others. A little advice from a friend, family member or acquaintance can boost your morale and encourage you to perform better.

Our attention spans are growing shorter due to distractions caused by gadgets and other advanced tools. Get over the video games and game scores. Switch that phone off and be dedicated towards your goal. Sometimes, we are not aware of the damage distractions cause in our way to achieve our goals. A message that popped up on your phone screen can result in a long conversation and eat your hours. By the end of it, you will feel hopeless, and a sense of guilt will haunt you that you again failed to complete your task. It is always better to first, finish your task and then entertain the distractions.

Those who manage their time well always finish the task that is assigned to them or the goals they have set for themselves.

We all undergo pressure throughout our lives. It eats away the peace of our body and mind whenever we are unable to accomplish our tasks or someone else has put in front of us. One has to be calculative and sense how much time will a particular activity take so that he or she can set a date for its completion. This will help you to provide a necessary structure to what you are doing and break it into parts, reducing stress and procrastination.
