The 2017 Women's Cricket World Cup is an international women's cricket tournament currently taking place in England from 24 June to 23 July 2017. It is the eleventh edition of the Women's Cricket World Cup, and the third to be held in England (after the 1973 and 1993 tournaments). Eight teams qualified to participate in the tournament.
India has started the tournament on a high after recently beating arch-rivals Pakistan in a nail-biting tie. The odds are heavily in favor of India's women team and they are being considered as one of the favorites to win the biggest trophy there is in women's cricket.
