Bollywood or Hindi cinema is growing and getting evolve very quickly.It is a place which known far its modern and liberal thoughts.But if we look at it closely then we will find hypocrisy too.Bollywood talks about women empowerment, but the way women are being treated shows the reality and hypocrisy of Bollywood.From Divya Bharti to Pratyusha Banerji there is a lot of mysterious and sudden deaths which shocked us.The male superstar and female superstar both get totally different attention and of course money.
Everyone knows about casting couch, which has been an integral part of filmmaking and the sad part is, the victim never go for justice because of society and all. So, Bollywood has treated women same as they being treated in our society.All the female actors have molded themselves in the shape.These women plan their future according to the so-called society, just like others.
But nowadays, audience taste also getting evolve which have given more scope for filmmakers to make films on women or women oriented.But at last film success is being judged by its collections like 100cr.club which is very far for films of women protagonist because of the limited screen. If we analyze the career, then we can see that female protagonist has a comparatively short career than male protagonist because of marriage commitments. So the issue and partiality index are same for both, either it is Bollywood or any other.
Women have to change their thinking and lifestyle after marriage.There is no women empowerment, or such thing exists anywhere, either it is Bollywood or somewhere else.On multiple occasions, we had seen that heroine avoids kissing and intimate scene after marriage but before marriage, they were doing with ease.
Before marriage, it was considered as women empowerment but after marriage, it has become "Pride of Family". Before marriage, she also had a family. If she can do intimate scene then why not after marriage? Why male doesn't have any boundaries ?.Sorry to say, but Bollywood is also the bunch of people who get annoyed by women empowerment very often.
So the Issue is the mentality that we have towards women. When women slap a man then it has become a pride issue, I don't know why? Why we don't consider it as just a heat of the moment through which man go very often.So we need to improve ourselves, every individual should change his perception and mentality. This is the best thing that we can do for women empowerment.
