We get exposed to a lot of toxic materials every day.
A toxin is defined as the substance, which has no nutritional value or any other to the body of the individuals. However, it harms the body of the individuals and the body gets rid of the valuable resources and energy.
Toxins are mainly of two types. These are endogenous toxins and exogenous toxins.
Endogenous toxins are defined as the harmful materials, which are present inside the body of the individuals. Some of the examples of endogenous toxins are urea, carbon dioxide, lactic acid and many more.
Exogenous toxins are defined as the chemicals, which are present outside the body. These are very harmful for the cells if these are inhaled, absorbed in the blood or ingested. Some examples are aspartame, recreational drugs and many more.
But how does a human body get rid of the toxic materials? This is primarily done by the first line of defense of the body. This is known as the skin. Microorganisms can't get into the skin and the concentration of salt in the sweat produces hostile ambience for bacterial penetration.
Most of the waste materials also get eliminated from the body through healthy gut. Improper health doesn't effectively detoxify the body. Kidneys also play a major role in eliminating the wastes. Functioning of liver helps in secretion of bile juice, which also speeds up the cleansing process of the humans. Also, it is recommended to consume lot of green vegetables, mineral supplements and multi-vitamins and avoid the drinking of alcohol, caffeine and exposure to tobacco as well.
Thus, these are some ways to detoxify the body and remove toxic materials from the body of the individuals.
