The mystery in our lives is that no one knows when and how their story is going to end. Though we can surely plant the seeds for tomorrow to be reaped in joy and provide comfort to those in despair. But, what about the life that exists today? What about the hopes and desires we have today? Are we taking any steps to have a meaningful life, to create a purpose of our lives and fulfill the same with whatever we have?
To search for a greater meaning in life is the best we can do to ourselves. And it is the most satisfying experience. Meaning of life is an enduring journey. It is very different from emotions that actually fade away or change with time. However, the meaning of our life connects the past from our present to the future.

Just imagine this situation once - You wake up, rinse, recycle, work, eat, come back home, rest, sleep and repeat. What difference does this kind of a life have? Does it even matter? Deep within our mind and hearts, all of us know the answer - yes, we matter. There is a special meaning to your life, we definitely have a purpose. Then why are you stuck with the mundane and doing nothing about it?
Let me tell you how you can have meaning life, today and now!
#1. Commit To This Very Moment
Start committing to your life, the life that is here right now and ahead of you. Do not choose any particular themes to go about throughout the year, like New Year resolutions. Do not make yourself passive and soft; you cannot move mountains with that attitude. Start challenging yourself at the moment you are and become active, energized and engaged. Make sure that when you look at your past, it is with pride, and when you look ahead, it is with anticipation. That kind of passion is required for you to believe in yourself and be mindful of your decisions.
But, also keep in mind that time does not have any loyalty when it comes to someone's aspirations. It does not sympathize with your insecurities as well. So, you will have to take an action, this very moment. And this is how you will also observe magical things happening around you.

#2. Focus On Becoming A Better Version
I totally mean this. Each day try to do the things that make you better from what you used to be as your previous self. Start analyzing the kind of person you want to be on the personal as well as on the professional front. Assess who you were, how you are and what you want to be. Also, ensure that you do not miss out on the available opportunities. Do not count the hours; they surely don't matter. Counting only slows you down and that is what obstructs your way. Celebrate your accomplishments even if they are the smaller ones. Winning matters, not how big or small it would be. Try to embrace failure and not sweat over it. Spend time with your family, help others in whatever they need, ask for help in case you need some, exercise every alternative day and do what you love. Start doing and not waiting. Be the better version of yourself rather than waiting for time to bring about any changes.

To have a meaningful life, start cherishing the beautiful things around you. Take up things that bring a smile to your face. Do things that keep you contended. Do the things that retain the capability to keep your soul filled with joy. Smile, grin, laugh, listen to music, watch your favorite show on television, take up the long-pending DIY project and meet people who have been asking you since long.
Just do the things that actually matter, the things that clear your emotional trauma and the things that can truly bring joy to your spirit along with your entire life. To have a meaningful life, it is also important to experience those happy moments. Make love to your partner, meditate, walk your pets, opt for gardening, attend theatre, dance shows, exhibition or concerts, take up some sports activity, travel, work or study. These are the small things that you forget while climbing up the corporate ladder. Our schedules are so tough that they do not allow us to manage our time or take care of ourselves. However, that should not be the case, and one should enjoy their life even in the tough times. These are the things that make every experience unique.
#4. Live Your Life With Compassion
Live a life that is full of empathy, compassion, and love. It is extremely important to feel that way as you never know what the other person is going through in their life. There are a very few people who are sincerely concerned for someone and their well-being. Be that kind of a person. Start from today, in fact now itself. It is very easy to get consumed by technology and all the worldly affairs. But, it is very difficult to resist the urge and pay attention to what is really happening in the real world. Be willing to listen to what others have to say, keep the capability to understand and share the feelings of the other person and love without a reason, unconditionally. With a life that we all live, a life that is full of troubles and hustle, it is actually a great feeling to deeply connect with others and also consider their needs. Be gentle not only with others but also to yourself. Be willing to listen to not only others but also to yourself. Care for your own requirements and do not lose hope in the times of difficulty.
Remember, you and others are not different. It is a circle in which all of us keep revolving. If you are being good to yourself, you also are being good to others. And when you are being good to other people, you are also being good to your own self.
#5. De-Clutter Your Life
You just need to simplify things in order to have a meaningful life. By doing this, you will actually have more time to deal with the more important things in life than the random or insignificant ones. You are reducing your stress levels, you are adding overall easy to manage everything, and you are also becoming more and more productive. It is a great feeling. Try once and see for yourself the difference that happens.
Slow down a bit this very moment, forget the small things that irritate you, get rid of mental as well as physical clutter, make sure that you have the things that you really need and not more than that and try to embrace your personal vision of living a simple life.
